In this magical realism psychological drama, 28-year-old Rue struggles with depression and painful memories of leaving his partner. Fleeing from his life and relationship, he finds himself stranded with car trouble at a desolate gas station, where his path crosses with gas station attendant Rayleigh and the dreamy customer Halley. As we switch from perspectives and getting little glimpses of their personal lives, the impact of their choices unravel through layers of time.
'To Where the Sky Turns Blue' is an exploration of love, regret and pain - showcasing the influence of the butterfly effect. It delves into the impact of fear on relationships and demonstrates the interplay of the passage of time, reflecting on choices, and the lasting echoes of pivotal moments in our lives.
